We currently hold patents on several of our designs and are committed to developing new products that help pharmacies increase patient safety, maximize customer satisfaction, and lower operating costs. QEM, Inc., the parent company of PAS, was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Largo, Florida. QEM is a certified ISO 9001/2008 company. Pharmacy Automation Systems was established by QEM Inc. to fulfill a need in the pharmacy industry. Pharmacists are in short supply and have a great deal of pressure to accomplish all that is expected of them during a daily routine. Knowing that guidelines for Pharmacists vary from state to state, we have worked hard to gather vital information and develop machinery that would assist in that daily routine. Our goal was to design versatile and affordable automation. Our goal was to provide that needed tool that was not previously available to almost any pharmacy that needed it. We used our 20+ years of successful experience with machine design and automation to produce and manufacture right here in the USA these truly affordable systems for pharmacies of all kinds. We believe that our prescription dispensing automation is the most affordable – and certainly the most versatile equipment on the market. We hope that we are serving the industry well and giving the pharmacists and technicians what they need to be productive with increased dispensing safety. We are audited yearly and dedicated in maintaining our ISO 9001/2000 certification for design, manufacturing, and assembly. It is our desire to improve the quality of life for pharmacy personnel and the customers they serve by automating the process of filling prescriptions.
